We aren't just another landscape company that has watched a few videos and received a G.E.D. from YouTube University. We are members of the Synthetic Turf Council of North America. This allows our artificial turf suppliers to STI standards, and receive up to date information and training from our manufacturer. We traveled across the United States to be trained on our products directly from our manufacturing facility located in Dalton Georgia. There, we learned the proper methods of synthetic turf installation, indoor and outdoor, and what to look for on each project. We keep everyone up to date on the latest products and techniques by attending Synthetic Turf International Dealer conferences annually.
We pay special attention to the details in every synthetic turf installation to ensure the complete satisfaction of each client. We will make sure we ask all of the questions we need to simplify the process and maximize the longevity of the product so you can enjoy your turf longer!
We created a special division just for artificial grass in a region that has ideal weather, and plenty of water for lawns, here's why.
We found through many years of landscaping and maintenance, that there are times when living grass is not a better option. Grass can get too much sun, not enough water, destroyed by kids and animals, not drain correctly, or not hold ideal nutrients and be decimated by insects or disease. Artificial turf is having a lush lawn without the constant maintenance to create the ideal balance of lush green lawn, without sacrificing your free time.
Synthetic Turf installation can be performed virtually anywhere and be used in many ways.

We've been in the landscape industry since 2007. We often find ourselves needing to do additional work in order to have the site ready for projects. Occasionally we need to add drainage, outdoor low voltage lighting and excavation to projects in order to get the full effect. We also offer sod with high efficiency irrigation systems when turf is not a viable option.
Does turf get hot in the sun?
Turf does get hot when in direct sunlight. However, with proper synthetic turf installation, our area wont likely experience those "extreme" issues. We use natural sand, not rubber or silica, to reduce surface temps drastically for full sun applications as well. Some projects actually use irrigation systems to cool the turf for major events.
Does turf smell?
There is a slight new smell to it, simlar to a new refrigerator, that seems to last about a week . Our turfs are made with hypoallergenic materials, so we try to keep these things in mind for those certain people or pets that are sensitive.
How much does turf cost?
It can vary greatly depending on the size of project and which turfs are used. Our Brand New turf starts at $3.00 per square foot. Our most popular landscape turfs range from $4.00 per square foot up to $8.00.Prices start at $12 per square foot installed for just the turf. Adding padding, felt, weed block, concrete, base materials, and any demolition will increase the overall cost of the project. We have found that if you are doing a full lawn replacement, your ROI is 5 years. That means if you factor in the cost of sod, irrigation system to water it, topsoil to feed the sod, mowing it weekly for 26 weeks, fertilizer 4 times a year, herbicides twice a year and cost of watering it, your synthetic turf will be paid off in 5 years.
How much maintenance does it need?
That will depend on how often it's used, and where it's at. High traffic areas may need an occation infill application or extra brooming. Sometime an edge may need to be resecured. On a very rare occasion, the turf may need to be replaced due to a flaw, damage or abuse. All of which we can help you with if something happens!
How long does it last?
Depends on the application. Generally you can expect to see 15 plus good years out of it. Sports turf tend to not last as long due to the constant abuse it endures. Indoor putting green will last much longer not being in high traffic or absorbing UV rays. STI offers a Limited Lifetime Manufacture Warranty on our products for that extra peace of mind.
